Countybank, a privately held and high-growth Financial Services Institution is accepting applications for a seasoned, qualified individual with teller or administrative experience to be a part of the Financial Center Support Team. The ideal candidate will work in concert with the Financial Center Support Team Lead to ensure the operational effectiveness and efficiency of lobby banking staff. This position will be based in Greenwood but will require some travel to Greenville when needed.

Major Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Department Representation – Demonstrates commitment to organizational and departmental goals through a) adherence to stated policies, procedures and guidelines, b) being flexible in assignment of job duties based on the needs of the Financial Centers (staff coverage, diversity in locations/leadership & communication styles, and projects), c) being an available resource to all staff while respecting leadership resources and decisions in locations.
  • Financial Center Reporting – Responsible for recording and analyzing teller performance data and using this information to help improve performance.
  • Financial Center Scheduling – Reviews Master Schedule effectiveness for Monday – Friday and assist with Saturday, vacation and call-in coverage.
  • Staff Coverage – Performs Teller, CSR, and/or Customer Relations Manager duties as assigned based on staff coverage needs of Financial Centers.
  • Compliance – Reviews and files all compliance related forms to ensure a good audit.
  • Financial Center Resources – Helps maintains an up-to-date teller manual and teller knowledgebase in conjunction with Financial Center Support Team Lead and communicates changes to affected associates in a positive and timely manner.
  • Other Duties as Assigned—The nature of the support department and the needs of the organization to deliver a superior customer experience dictate that all support staff must be flexible in performing additional duties as needed. This can include coverage, projects, administrative duties, team meetings, problem-solving on issues, etc.Qualification, Education, Job Skills:

  • BS/BA Degree in a Business or related field from an accredited College/University and comparable work experience is desired; with emphasis on work experience in staff development.
  • 3-5 years verifiable work experience in banking.
  • Proven ability to work with Microsoft Office and use these programs to enhance job performance.
